The fifth and sixth phases were held on May 24 and June 5 in Lai Chi Kok and Lam Tin, with another 20,000 masks being donated to the elderly, and assistance money distributed to individual grassroots families to relieve their financial burden. The total number of beneficiaries of this activity amounts to some 8,400 people in 1,200 grassroots families. It is hoped that all sections of society will continue to work together to fight the epidemic, care for those in need in all communities, and help tide them over their difficulties.
