Culture Promotion

The dragon boat sport, which carries China's history and traditional culture, has a history of more than 2,000 years. The '20th Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Championships', sponsored by DC Foundation, was held at the Kwun Tong Waterfront Garden from October 26 to 28 2018, in order to show the Chinese traditional culture and to inherit the dragon boat culture.

 

The Hong Kong Ballet Beatles Preview Benefit 2018 was held on Sunday, 4 March 2018 with over 360 guests dressed in glamorous 60s attire in honor of the evening's Beatles theme. As Hong Kong Ballet continues to successfully create fundraising experiences that are both fun and engaging, the resources gained have allowed the Company to consistently stage exhilarating productions showcasing first-class ballet-making and the Company's talented, dedicated dance artists. Since 2013, DC Foundation has sponsored The Hong Kong Ballet every year to support its development. We'd like to support the vibrant growth of its award-winning education and outreach programs, which reach hundreds of thousands of participants, from school children to underserved community members.

The exhibition Hong Kong ‘Ink Global’, sponsored by DC Foundation, attracts many elite artists worldwide and art lovers, and receives enthusiastic response from the public. We also wish Ink Global could promoting the diversity in culture and arts, thus, to exhibit the beauty of Oriental ink art.

 

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, ’Dream Night - Young and Restart Youth Music Festival 2017’, sponsored by DC Foundation and other institutions, was successfully held in Hong Kong Coliseum on 30 June 2017. The concert invited as many as 30 groups of famous artists, to share positive energy and present multiculturalism. We hope to take this opportunity to vigorously support young musicians and youth to spark their creativity, passion and dreams.

 

DC Foundation sponsored Musée du Louvre's art dinner and its first exhibition, Invention of the Louvre: Eight Centuries of French History through the Museum' s Collections, in China which was to be organized in 2016 and 2017, for the purpose of promoting the development of culture and arts.
